MANAGER'S WELCOME
"We have a feel-good factor about the camp right now, but Morton will be a tough nut to crack. They were very unfortunate against Raith Rovers."

ON THIS DAY
1941 - During the war, football was continuing in but the Scottish Football League had been suspended and replaced by two war emergency leagues - Queen’s Park and Morton were in the Southern League.
Queen’s Park had an impressive 3-2 win against Partick Thistle at Firhill, with goals from David Letham, Tony Harris and Andy Aitken. Morton were less successful, Charlie McGillivary scoring in a 3-1 defeat to Airdrie at Broomfield.
